Square octavo. (25)ff. Entirely printed in brown on tan paper. Stone's whimsical verses describe toys, and each poem is presented within a border and complemented with a hand-colored illustration of the toy by Jay Chambers. Stone, Chambers, and William Jordan formed The Triptych, which published small editions (usually 99 copies) out of Stone's office in Manhattan. Stone, who contributed to the literature of miniature books, was a collector of dolls and toys, which likely informed this tidy, tasteful production. Bound in cloth-backed boards with hand-colored illustrations on both covers. Corners a trifle rubbed, else a fine copy of a book seldom encountered thus. Hand-colored prospectus laid in.
