The prefatory sheets show, on the first, a Dogon Greeting and publication information, and, on the second, a poem by Richard Grossman entitled "Civilization." Both literary supplements contemplate the contributions of animals to society at large, and especially to the way humans operate within it. Sheets protected by paper chemise and housed in dropback box. Mild sunning to box edges, else fine.
