Octavo. 55pp. A rare example of the oft-overlooked niche of Swiss fine printing, here in the service of German poet Ilse Heye, who would later become a muse for Weimar sculptor Fritz Klimsch. The edition was issued in wrappers but here the binder Theophile Jirasko has displayed his hand at the art of the trade with a binding in full blue morocco over board with elaborate floral gilt design at center of upper and lower boards, with red onlays. Tooling in gilt and in blind to edges and turn-ins, with Jirasko's stamp in blind at foot inside front board. Original wrappers bound in. Mild sunning to spine, else near fine in slipcase.
