Neel, who completed two color lithographs and an etching for this book - including an uncannily prescient, skeletal self-portrait - died of colon cancer during the publication process. Fine in marbled boards with morocco spine and fore-edge. Housed in suede-lined clamshell box, which shows some soiling outside cloth. LEC newsletter from August 1985 laid in, which provides a lengthy tribute to Neel and an explanation of her involvement.
