Octavo. (20)pp. Opus IV. The Pindar Uncial type was designed and cut by Victor Hammer and cast by Klingspor especially for this book, and it was printed in black with red line numbers by Hammer with the assistance of his son, Jacob. It was the first work produced during Hammer's stay in Alsace. In original black cloth with paper spine label. Cloth shows light wear along spine; some glue offsetting to endleaves, few flecks of foxing internally, but less than often encountered. Overall a near fine copy of a scarce Hammer work.
