Square quarto. (14)ff. An experiment in color and the grotesque, A Book of Demons realizes Baskin's etchings posthumously. Hence the collaborative homage of the production: Michael Kuch printed the etchings from the original copperplates, including the color; Arthur Larson completed the letterpress; and the book was bound by Daniel Gehnrich. A heavenly book of hellish figures, in true Baskin fashion. Fine in full green morocco over boards with rules in blind, titling in gilt, and inlaid light green leather with demon embossed. Housed in green dropback box.
