Oblong quarto. (6)ff accordionfold + (2)ff colophon. Printed at the Taller de Serigrafia Rene Portocarrero in Havana, with silkscreen overprinted on maps from the 1978 Atlas de Cuba. Daiber's work is a reaction to the first Trump administration's reversals of Obama-era policies toward Cuban relations. He notes that when he got off the plane that summer, he noticed a distinct absence of the old American cars which had once lined the streets. Their departure seemed a signal of larger international developments, particularly America's abandonment of Cuba, sending it into an economic crises "as bad as the special period." Text of Daiber's own composition and from social media posts join images of the U. S. Embassy on the maps. Bound in blue Kyoseishi Sora paper wrappers with paper label image of Cristal bottles. Fine.
